Game: AS ROMA vs ARSENAL
Type: Champions League
Date: 11 March, 2009
PREVIEW
Roma will be seeking to overturn the 0-1 deficit that was suffered when they visited the Emirates for the 1st leg of this Champions League match. They will be banking on their home form, where they have remained unbeaten in their last 12 home matches. They have also yet to lose at home in this year's competition, beating the likes of Chelsea 3-0 and Bordeaux 2-0 to qualify for the round of 16. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen how they will fare should their talismatic captain Francesco Totti not be fit in time for this crunch match.
Arsenal seems to have lost their touch in front of goal, but have shown tough resilience with the back four conceding only three times in their last 12 matches. An even more notable stats is the fact that they have remained unbeaten in their last 17 matches, including the last 7 away. Will the Gunners be able to add Roma to their scalp?
AWAY > ARSENAL

THE PICK
UNDER 2.5 goals is my call, considering the fact that both teams have a list of injuries to their strike force. Goals will be of a premium, and with Arsenal's stout defending capabilities it wouldn't be a surprise if they will be looking for an early goal and then defend right to the end.
